Deadline for submitting abstracts to the international conference Port and Ocean Engineering under Arctic Conditions, POAC 09 has expired. We have recieved about 150 abstracts.

Second Announcement and Call for Abstracts
|
|
The 20th conference, POAC 09, will be held in Luleå, the capital of Swedish Lapland. POAC is the acronym for the International Conference on Port and Ocean Engineering under Arctic Conditions. Every second year since 1971 this conference on ice and cold regions engineering has provided an outstanding forum for discussion of new developments and research findings. Typically, there are about 150 participants at the conference presenting and discussing papers related to many ice engineering topics.
You are invited to submit a 300 word abstract by October 31, 2008, see instructions in left menu.

POAC Best Student-Paper Award
|
|
A prize sum of 1000 USD will be given to the author(s) of the best student-authored paper. A paper is eligible if all of its authors are full-time students at the time of submission. This must be indicated on the abstract submission form
